Don’t go on a spending spree using credit if you are thinking about buying a home, or in the process of buying a new home. Your mortgage pre-approval is subject to a final evaluation of your financial situation.
Every $100 you pay per month on a credit payment could cost you about $10,000 in home eligibility. For example, a car payment of $300/month could mean that you qualify for $30,000 less in a mortgage.
Even if you have accumulated enough savings, you should consider not making any large purchases until after closing. The last thing you want is to know that you could have purchased a new home had you curbed the urge to spend.
When we decided to sell our property in Colorado from our home in Tennessee, finding an agent with the ability to market out property to a wide area was our main goal. We also felt finding an agent with honesty and integrity was integral in an out-of-state sell. Immediately, Sherry made us feel at ease with her knowledge of the area and how she would market our property. We decided to enter into an agreement with Sherry, and we were not disappointed! She kept out best interest at heart and advised us on what was best in our situation. Our property sold so much quicker than we ever anticipated! If we ever decide to look for property in Colorado in the future, we will definitely call on Sherry.Brad and Karen Miller
